if it bonded to Johnny's blood like carnage did it might get immunity to Johnny's fire right? just thinking here that the hosts body functions should not effect the symbiote so it might simply develop an immunity to fire... that gene could be passed down if it decided to replicate creating a line of symbiotes that were immune to fire... scary thoughts there.

if i recall correctly, Anti-venom is completely un-effected by fire.
I mean, the Venom Symbiote absorbed Spiderman's strength and agility (and was able to duplicate his wall crawling powers). By their nature Symbiotes seem to be able to take on properties that their hosts are sharing by sharing existence with them.
It's definitely interesting to think about whether or not it'd ever be "safe" for Johnny to FLAME ON! being joined with an Symbiote, though ... LOL.
